8 major tires support the top 100 counties in China
As we all know, the tire industry has contributed to Guangrao becoming one of the top 100 counties in China. Among the 49 tire companies in Guangrao County, the comprehensive production capacity of six backbone enterprises represented by Hengfeng Rubber & Plastic, Huasheng Rubber, Jinyu Tire, Yongsheng Rubber, Xingyuan Tire, and Fangxing Rubber accounts for almost 80% of the county's total rubber tire production capacity.
Huasheng Rubber
Huasheng Rubber is one of the more prominent tire companies in Guangrao. In the Guangrao tire industry, which was deeply troubled by the guarantee chain in previous years, Huasheng Rubber not only did not fall into bankruptcy crisis, but also had sufficient funds to carry out mergers and acquisitions.
Since 2018, Huasheng Rubber has steadily operated Guofeng Rubber and Plastic, acquired the tire project of Shandong Yongtai Group, and operated the Hengyu truck and bus tire factory.
Recently, Lubo Rubber Technology, a subsidiary of Huasheng Rubber, took over 100% of the equity of Guangrao Gee-star Tire for 205 million yuan. So far, Huasheng Rubber Group currently has about 5 large factories, and its strength has been further enhanced.
Yongsheng Rubber
In recent years, when the overall tire industry in Guangrao has been shrinking, the only company that has been expanding is Yongsheng Rubber.
Since 2023, Yongsheng Rubber has promoted an investment of 1 billion to build an "artificial intelligence semi-steel high-performance green and environmentally friendly radial tire equipment transformation and upgrading project based on Internet of Things technology". The new project is expected to be put into production in October this year, forming a 4.0 smart factory with a daily production capacity of 16,000 tires.
Yongsheng Rubber Group has formulated a "4+2+2" strategic layout, namely four major factories in China (3 all-steel factories and 1 semi-steel factory), and plans to build two PCR factories in Europe and Latin America, and two technical laboratory centers in Asia and Europe to ensure the supply of supporting and replacement businesses in various regions.
Judging from Yongsheng Rubber's future strategic planning and goals, this old Guangrao enterprise is gathering momentum and has a bright future.
Zhongyi Rubber
Different from the expansion ideas of Huasheng Rubber and Yongsheng Rubber, another low-key and pragmatic tire company in Guangrao County that has recently made a splash is Zhongyi Rubber.
On August 31, the construction of Zhongyi Rubber's 24 million per year ultra-high performance green and environmentally friendly semi-steel radial tire project started. It can be said to be the largest new tire project put into production in Guangrao County in many years.
It is reported that the total investment of the project is 2.1 billion yuan, of which 500 million yuan will be invested in the first phase and 1.6 billion yuan in the second phase. The newly purchased equipment includes more than 260 units, including internal mixers, open mills, calenders, building machines, curing presses, etc. This is the first new high-end tire project after Shandong Province introduced a new policy to withdraw tire projects from the "two highs" management. It is a landmark project of "Industry 4.0" in the tire industry.
Zou Haili, the company's general manager, said that the started project is expected to increase Zhongyi Rubber's annual output value by nearly 5 billion yuan, which will help Zhongyi Rubber become a billion-dollar enterprise.
