The commissioning ceremony for the first phase of the third phase of the Wanli Tire Conghua production base project, which produces 6 million semi-steel radial tires, was held in Conghua, Guangzhou on December 26. The holding of this commissioning ceremony marks another important milestone in the development history of Wanli Tire.
The third phase of Wanli Tire Conghua production base covers the entire tire production line including rubber mixing, components, building, curing, final inspection, and finished product warehouse, with a total construction area of 120,000 square meters. Since the official start of construction in January 2024, it took only 9 months to complete and successfully achieve production, demonstrating the remarkable "Wanli speed".
With the first phase of the 6 million semi-steel radial tire construction project put into production, the annual production capacity of the Conghua production base has increased to 30 million tires, making it one of the largest single-unit semi-steel radial tire factories in China.
What is even more exciting is that the second phase expansion project of the third phase of the Conghua production base - the 6 million high-performance semi-steel radial tire project is also progressing steadily, and is expected to enter the trial production stage in June 2025. By then, the annual production capacity of the Conghua production base will jump to 36 million tires, making it the world's largest single semi-steel radial tire factory.
