On February 28, Gubersail Tire (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. held a ceremony to mark the first tire rolling off the production line and officially start production in Huai'an, Jiangsu. Shi Yifeng, Deputy Secretary-General of China Rubber Industry Association and Secretary-General of Tire Branch, attended the event and delivered a speech. Leaders of Huai'an City and Huai'an County also attended the event.
Shi Yifeng said that the Gubersail Tire factory, from its design and construction to its successful production, fully embodies the combination of green, low-carbon and energy-saving advanced design concepts, highly modernized automated equipment, advanced and mature manufacturing process technology and high-quality green rubber raw and auxiliary materials.
He hopes that Gubersail will always adhere to the innovation-driven concept, attach importance to green transformation, continue to deepen open cooperation, bravely shoulder social responsibilities, and contribute more to the re-takeoff of China's tire industry. The Gubersail Tire Huai'an project is located in Huai'an County, Huai'an City, covering an area of 1,212 acres and a construction area of approximately 650,000 square meters. The production base is dedicated to the production of high-end tires, with a planned annual output of 30 million sets of semi-steel tires and 3.5 million sets of full-steel tires, which will be implemented in two phases. At present, the first phase of the construction of 15 million sets of semi-steel tires has been successfully completed and put into operation. According to the plan, the company's daily production capacity will reach 10,000, 25,000 and 50,000 units at the end of June, October and December respectively. The second phase of the project is also being prepared in full swing. Before the ceremony, the guests visited the production line and gained an in-depth understanding of the company's production technology and quality control procedures.
